MOVEMENT & MIND with Yan Ong

Using MOVEMENT to find stillness and stillness in our MIND… to set ourselves free.

MOVEMENT … explores a holistic approach to movement systems in Ashtanga. Whether you have just started or a seasoned practitioner come find out the secrets to longevity in your practice, practical advice for daily practice, managing injury and ageing gracefully on the mat. Approaching asana with a wider perspective and understanding will set you free. Stripping back the complexities and exposing the raw essence of physical practice for an approachable and renewed perspective to asana as Patanjali intended.

MIND … an amusing philosophy lecture discussing the most vital aspects of yoga practice and translating it into everyday life, eye opening and mind expanding, we take ancient teachings and self reflection thru an entertaining journey to enlightenment. This talk aims to simplify the understanding of sophisticated Vedic concepts for practical application into modern day living. No complicated text recitals or verses, no hard to understand Sanskrit terminology, just an accessible heart to heart talk to all interested in how we can become true yoga practitioners in 2020.
